Drowning man dies after being pulled out of Bridlington harbour
The man was pulled out of the water by coastguards and the RNLI, but later died in hospital

A man died on Christmas Day after being pulled out of the water in Bridlington harbour.
The man, who was in his forties according to the Hull Daily Mail, was spotted at around 8:15pm by a passerby.
Despite the best efforts of the Humber Coastguard and RNLI, who managed to pull him out of the water, the man died in hospital shortly after.
The explanation for how the unnamed man ended up in the sea is still unclear.
Humberside Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
The area around Bridlington has escaped the worst of the heavy rains that have hit the north of England in the last few days, but heavy rainfall and minor flooding in east Yorkshire has still been causing travel disruption.
